HSBC Life HappyFamily is a bundled insurance plan that combines HSBC Life EmpoweredMum, a prenatal plan, with additional coverage options for the whole family. It's designed to provide comprehensive protection for expectant mothers, newborns, and other family members , ensuring that your growing family is well-protected at every stage.
This is the core component of the HappyFamily bundle. It's a 3-year single premium plan that protects both the expectant mother and the newborn child. It covers death benefits, pregnancy complications, hospital care, and early delivery for mothers, as well as death benefits, congenital illnesses, hospital care, and developmental delay for newborns.
On top of EmpoweredMum, HappyFamily allows you to enhance coverage for the mother, father, or child's siblings with a range of eligible family plans, including HSBC Life Flexi Protector and HSBC Life - Life Treasure (II).
Within 60 days of your child's birth, you have the option to purchase either HSBC Life Flexi Protector or HSBC Life - Life Treasure (II) for your newborn without underwriting . This ensures your child has lifelong protection from day one.
As part of the HappyFamily bundle, you can apply for free 1st year HSBC Life Shield plan B coverage for your newborn child within 60 days of birth, providing additional health insurance protection without medical underwriting.
Let's break down the coverage timeline:
